Dimensions
* 14.5" x 13.25" x 1.5" This Board is an end-grain board meaning the end of the board/logs fibers are facing upwards as the cutting surface. End-grain boards are the best for your knives and show the least amount of knife marks however, they require more frequent care then standard edge-grain cutting boards.
Wood Species
* This board is crafted from both exotic and domestic hardwoods including; Cherry Walnut, Red Oak, Ash, Maple, Wenge, Tigerwood, Yellowheart, Purpleheart and African Mahogany. All woods were properly kiln dried before use to limit wood movement.
Two finger slides are routed into two sides of the board to give an easy way to pick the board up. This board also has heavy-duty non-slip rubber feet installed on the bottom of the board to prevent sliding. (height does not include feet dimensions)
Finished with pure tung oil, pure tung oil is 100% food safe once cured and holds up much better overtime compared to mineral oil. Boards finished in tung oil can still be conditioned with a wood conditioner.
